I had so much fun making my Picasso dogs (see yesterday’s post) that I decided to try making some Picasso birds! I created these in color pencils and a black marker.
My first one is doing the yoga pose, “Bird of Paradise!” LOL!
The fun part about making these is you never know what you are going to get!
The “Frowning Frout” appeared out of nowhere! I used a gelli-print for his nose:
And my last one looks like a chicken:
That is if chickens could fly! LOL!
Hope these make you smile today! 🙂
Yes , these make me smile. It’s obvious too that you were having fun!

Oh my gosh, Jill, I love that first one!! It almost looks like he has a black eye from falling down in the pose lol! Oh that is so hilarious. I love your birds, and all of your cool characters and names. Jill you are a wonder! Thanks for sharing your art with us! 💛💛💛

Thank you for your enthusiasm, Laura! I know my style is so different from yours but if we were all the same, life would be rather dull, huh? LOL! 😊

I love your style! I wouldn’t even try to imitate it because I would fail horribly. You have a wonderful sense of humor and imagination combined with your sense of style and balance and color. It just all marries up to the coolest stuff and I always look forward to your posts!! I never know what I might find! 💛💛💛

Yes, every day is an adventure for me too! LOL! I like so many different art mediums. You and I are both trying to figure out what art we like to do. 😊

Right? I want a map. I really do. I want a plan and a schedule and just tell me what subject, what medium, what day and woo. I just feel like I hop around like some kinda rabid squirrel lol. Focus! 🙀💃😝🙅

Thanks for making me laugh Laura! Yes, I seem to be lacking in the focus dept too! 😊

Well, and I’ve fallen down doing yoga before so I can just sympathize with that first one lol!

I thought it was funny that the actual name for a similar yoga pose was Bird of Paradise! 😊

I’m still a beginner at yoga that one sounds too advanced lol!

YAY did you? Y for the rest of us is great. That first stretching segment is really good. Often, it’s all I have energy/time for but it keeps me limber without lots of strain or anything. Yay Jill!!

So fun! I bet you were giggling while you were sketching! I like the bird doing yoga, in fact I think I’ve done that pose but not nearly as well as him!😉
