The imaginary animal I created yesterday with the letter, “Y” inspired me to create these imaginary creatures with the letters of my name today:
I think this would be a fun project for kids! Especially around the holidays when they are on Christmas break from school.
Maybe they just want to create their initials:
Or maybe they have a nickname:
I hope you have FUN creating imaginary creatures with someone you love!
Would love to see what you do!
Happy Creating! 🙂
What a fun way indeed to learn your letters!!! Have a great weekend, xo Johanna

Oh, I’d LOVE to see what creatures you create with your name, Sharon! 😄🎨 Yay! 💖💕 I just started chicken and rice soup in the crock pot. I’m making dinner for my sister’s family today to give her a break from cooking so my day to off to a great start! 😊

Are you going to try creating your name too, Laura? You might surprise yourself with how much fun this is! I used watercolor and color pencils to color them with micron pen to add details. My letters I cut out from my Gelli printed paper but you could just draw them or use a stencil. 😊🎨🎄 I do hope you give it a whirl! 😜

I do plan to work more with lettering in the New Year in my art journal, Jill. It’s a good thought! I used to love inventing alphabets (fonts) when I was younger.

Thanks Charlie! Glad you like it! 😄 You could doodlewash the letters of your name or your initials with a different ornament for each letter! They wouldn’t have to be silly creatures. Nothing is impossible for AWESOME Charlie to doodlewash! 😄💖💕🌈
