When life gave me lemons, I tried to draw and paint them in my sketchbook…
And create a collage using an old photograph:
And create the beginning of a story…
School was starting soon and all the kids dreaded Mrs. Lemon’s class! She hardly ever smiled because… Now it’s your turn to finish the story in a sentence or two! 🍋😉🌟
Did you have a teacher that you dreaded in school?! I’d love to hear about it!
Happy Whimsical Wednesday friends! I hope I gave you a smile today!! 😄
What a lovely sour personality:-))

Wonderful lemon, lemonhead ( 😀 !!!) and lemon hat. Unfortunately, I think Mrs. Lemon has a broken heart. But perhaps one of her naughty but oh-so-sweet-at-heart students can help with that.

Ah, she does look like she could have a broken heart, Myriam! Maybe her students will draw colorful hearts in art class that will help her feel better! 😍💕🎨

Mrs. Lemon never wanted to smile, so she started each day by sucking on a lemon. Hehe. Fun art Jill.

I reckon she didn’t smile because she hated school; her students gave her some top quality advice on how to cut classes, which made her much happier 🙂

Because….life had given her too many lemons and not enough lemonade. Making her as sour as she looked. A dry bitter soul. Too stern for the children who feared her.
Not exactly a whimsical story and I am not sure where I am headed but she looks mean. Sorry Jill. All that being said I do like your lemons. 🙂

Thanks for the giggle, Susan! 😄 She does look like she could use a cool glass of lemonade and perhaps a foot massage? Maybe that would make her happy?! Lol! 😂🍋

Because…..she lost Mr lemon years ago. He was drinking lemon aid one warm summer day and chocked on some lemon seeds and passed away. The story spread quickly threw town that she killed Mr Lemon! Hum, did she?

Perhaps Mrs. Lemon and Mr. Fookwire who is a grumpy old man in “Those Darn Squirrels” by Adam Rubin could meet and both would live cheerful happily ever after lives.
This is a favorite book at our house. 🙂
I love your lemon head! It got me thinking about children’s stories.

She hardly ever smiled, because, true to her name she loved eating lemons. Her unusual desire for them gave her face the unfortunate pursed expression one normally finds only on Egyptian mummies. Though she loved lemons, she absolutely hated children and her attempts at concealing this fact, with her hideous puckered smirks, only served to frightened them all the more.
Fabulously done, Jill!! Hehe Fun idea!! 😉😃🎨
