Seeing Red

As many of you know, I LOVE color!  And red is one of my favorite colors…

So when Carla Sonheim gave the assignment to take 7 photos of the color red yesterday, I was thrilled! ❤

Here is a collage of the color red I did with my own photos using the (free) App called Layout:

Description, Left to right –

Top row: seed beads, earrings I made, red raspberries for breakfast! Yum!

Middle row: cat ornament, quilt wall hanging my mom made, red wine collage I did

Bottom row: cross-stitch w/ beads I made for my grandma (she loved to sew), flower painting  I did last year, hat I wore as a child

      I think orange is my favorite because it is so cheery but I LOVE all colors as you know! 😃🎨🌈 It was really fun to take photos based on one color. I wonder what you would choose for the color red, Jodi! ❤

    This is a good color for a grey cold winter day. And now I’m thinking I haven’t used beads in awhile…(K)

      Yes, red always adds a little cheer to a dreary day…❤ And I hear you on the beads, Kerfe! I was thinking the same thing as I was taking a photo of them. I used to love to bead before I started drawing and painting… 😃

    Your reds are so fun and energizing! I like a soft turquoise blue because it reminds me of warm tropical ocean waters. Our bedroom is even painted in that color 🙂

    You sure have a way with colors that shows your love of it! Red is my favorite color, too…well, until this election when it started to represent something I loathed. Now, yellow is becoming more my fav color because it’s cheerful and was my sweet MIL’s fav color. 🙂
