Vintage Flowers

I learned this technique recently from Carla Sonheim… creating flowers inspired by vintage buttons:

I drew my design with a ballpoint pen, colored it with crayons and covered the design with (water soluble) Tombow markers.  I finished by softening my design with a damp paper towel.

I then cut out my design and glued them to my page with a glue stick.  I added some flower stems with the same technique.  This is definitely something I want to explore further!

Happy Friday!

Cheers!  🙂

    • Thanks Jodi! 😊 I’d love to have an art room with everything in one place! Right now, I spread my art throughout the house… I use a spare bedroom for supplies and recently, I set-up a table in my “formal” living room so I can paint instead of using the kitchen island. My dream is to finish an area in our basement for my art! 🎨👍
