A Duck Eating Pasta?!

I thought you might enjoy this silly limerick today with an Italian spin:

Leda Commellini used to serve her homemade Chicken Cacciatore to her friends at her home so she wouldn’t be lonely.  Later, her Italian recipes became well-known in Spokane, Washington when a restaurant was opened called, Commellini’s.  The restaurant is closed now except for private events but you can still purchase some of Leda’s famous sauces at the local farmer’s market.

Happy Weird Bird Wednesday, Mama Mia!

Cheers!  🙂

  2. OMG! Love this so so so so much! You should share this with that private restaurant or Leda herself! And if they don’t want it – I sure do!!!!!!! Oh Jill – your birds – I am a broken record about it – but I so see a business in this. I see these prints in little specialty gift shops in airports and online. I see them on mugs and pads of paper and greeting cards.

  3. I love the “stuffed wild duck” of the recipe on the belly of the duck as it stuffs itself with fettuccini.
