I was experimenting in drawing and collage yesterday. When I remembered this quote:
I used my non-dominant hand to write it: “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” – George Bernard Shaw
I like how my scribbly handwriting adds to the playfulness of my collage.
How do you keep playing to stay young?
Cheers! 🙂
Keep playing Jill…and making me smile! Happy Monday! (K)

You write pretty good with your non-dominant hand! I shattered my dominant arm’s wrist when I was 35 ice skating and had to write left handed- for 10 weeks while I was in a full arm cast. Thankfully my bank let me write checks but held my limit to $500.00 anything over that He-Man had to write. By the end of the 10 weeks when the cast came I was getting better at writing with my left hand, but couldn’t wait to get back to normal. I haven’t written with my left hand since.
I agree we shouldn’t stop playing!

Hi Deborah, I can’t imagine not being able to write with my dominant hand for 10 weeks! Ugh! 😬 It took me a long time to write this and I did practice first! Lol! 😂 Do you still ice skate? ⛸

No, I don’t! That was the last time on the ice in skates for me. That was my first broken bone.
Do you ice skate?

I used to but I have taken too many hard falls trying to cross-country ski that I don’t have the desire anymore… a broken tail bone isn’t any fun! 😳
