Some days the creative whimsy just doesn’t flow…
Yet, this little experiment with acrylic ink, water and alcohol did!
As you can see, today’s weird bird is a bit of a drip!
Happy Weird Bird Wednesday!
Cheers! 🙂
P.S. Do you ever have one of those days when you have a creative block? What do you do to get your creative ideas flowing again? I hope you share them with me!
Love how it turned out! I definitely have blocks! Sometimes I watch YouTube our look to Pinterest for inspiration. Other time I just go for it and keep at it and after a few tries the muse comes through.

Jill, these paint drips are so beautiful. Magical! When I have a block, I take a walk or do some knitting or look through art books.. I recently watched a PBS American Master program about Eve Hesse. Her process gave me a jolt of inspiration.

Hi Sharon, I like your idea about taking a walk or looking through some art books. 😃 I will have to check out the PBS show you mentioned. Thank you! ❤️

This is wonderful Jill! I don’t have creative block as much as I do some fatigue. So I take my sketch book to the sofa and do sketchy things. I think sometimes what some people call creative block is just a need to rest from all the art overload we see and do when we are artists.

Hi Suz! I can so relate to your comments! 😃 I WAS feeling fatigued and so I just played with my art supplies…and drew quirky faces in my sketchbook. 😉 Good to know that you experience this feeling too! ❤️
