I have a friend, Marsha who creates the most AMAZING needlework!! I always enjoy seeing what projects she is working on! 🙂

pillows mostly, and Christmas stockings…I paint my own canvases to stitch, you should try it!

I really like cross-stitching, but find other kinds of embroidery really hard. It also takes a lot of time, which I don’t have – unfortunately. I follow some embroidery artists on Instagram and it is absolutely amazing what they can do! But for me I like knitting better, because it´s possible while watching TV. You cannot create beautiful embroidery while watching TV, because you really have to focus on what you do… Love your doodle, Jill! That would be a quite challenging embroidery – at least for me… 😉 Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Ann, I used to enjoy cross-stitching too. I do like hand embroidery but it is something that requires attention. I think it’s awesome that you enjoy knitting and can do it while watching TV! 😃 I do a lot of doodling while watching TV. I don’t think I could do this doodle in hand stitching but I do enjoy others who can! 🌈👍💕

Doodling with ink and paper is far more relaxing than needlework ever was for me. Your doodles are always amazing!

Hi Kerfe, it would be beautiful in blackwork. I haven’t done any of this kind of stitching. I will have to research it. I hope to do more stitching this fall. I always like your stitched mixed media pieces. 😃
