There is something wonderful about creating collage in grids…
Maybe it is like a box of chocolates…
Knowing that each space is filled with something delicious!
Or maybe it is finding that one unexpected surprise!
Or perhaps, it is a uniform and consistent result:
That brings you a feeling of comfort…
What collage grid do you like? How does it make you feel?
I hope you share it with me!
Cheers! 🙂
Fun!

Hi Kathy, yes, they are super fun to do…I think I could spend a year making them! But other art class assignments to do! Lol! 😃

I know how much work these are. I could only manage one. Think the black and white with the one red piece is my favourite.

I like the black and white one the most. With that one I really notice the shapes and they are very pleasing to look at.

I love these Jill! Full of inspiration! They may actually get me back into collage and grids…I’ve been looking for a way to begin. (K)

Hi Kerfe, I thought you might enjoy them! 😃 They are very addicting to make… I hope they inspire you. The last one I used stitching for the center of the eye. I found each one taught me something different. The first one I added layers with transparent papers onto solid paper and it really made them sing. The BW one, I used a copy of a doodle and cut it up, it made to see it in a different way and add a touch of red. The last one was a study of repetition with one shape, an eye. I used vintage papers and some were from a sewing book. I like the muted colors over a bright background.
I look forward to seeing what you create! 🎨👍

Thanks Jill. Stitching, of course. I also like to cut up things and rearrange them. Many ideas. I think they will percolate a bit, but I can feel myself getting ready.

They are all awesome and each have something special, but I am drawn to the first one. It has me searching for weird birds! 🙂

Thank you Jodi, I do like each one for different reasons. I even included a bird in the first one, did you see it? 🐦💗

Yes! I’m going to start collecting some. We have a store here called the Scrap Box and there’s always good treasures there like that for crafting 🤓
