I am still enjoying my square-a-day project, can you believe it has been 6 months?
I gave myself a theme for June. Can you guess what it is? Of course, many of you already know from my sneak peak earlier in the month.
I thought it was interesting how the 4th vertical row shares a similar color value when I lined them up yesterday.
What doodles and patterns stand out for you? I hope you share them with me!
Cheers! š
I really like this. Another blog I follow https://justsketches.wordpress.com/author/azorch/ recently did a page of square watercolor landscapes. There is something so visually appealing about seeing them all together. Today is the first, perhaps I’ll give it a go.

Hi Beverly, thank you for sharing this blog with me!! I love how they did their landscape squares! š I did something similar in an online class. I found it a great exercise for painting landscapes. I hope you do give it a try! šØš

It’s fun to see them all together in a group and the majority of them are either lines or circles? Love all the pattern variations and colors! World Watercolor month starts today and I’m going to do a collage of mine each week and at the end of the month, you inspired me!

I love all of the patterns Jill, I think I would love a blouse made with fabric just like this. It is difficult to pick a favorite. Happy Day!

For some reason, I am drawn to the blocks with intersecting lines. I enjoy the energy released. My favorite is June 3rd.

Thanks Laura Kate! š I used a sewing wheel used for marking darts on fabric to make some of my lines on this one. It is a fun tool with paint too! šæ

I have one of those! I never use it for marking fabric. Perhaps I will try it with my fabric paint.

That’s an interesting and inspired project, Jill, I like it. Enjoyed all the patterns and colors, I think the one that grabbed me the most was the fourth vertical line, second from L. Reminded me of laying in the grass.

Thanks Jet! Your description brought back those carefree days of childhood of lying in the grass and looking up at the clouds! š
