Say, Cheese!

When I was growing up, if mom or dad were taking a photo with a camera, they said, “Say, Cheese!” In order to get us kids to smile.

This memory came to me yesterday when I “whipped up” this weird soufflΓ© bird:

The description from an old cookbook was the perfect recipe to create my cheesy bird.

Happy Weird Bird Wednesday!

  6. I love the background. And the words bring back memories to me as well. Of course my younger brother always had a smart response…perhaps “peanut butter” (K)

    • Lol! πŸ˜ƒ My husband reminded me that we also said, β€œcheeseburgers.” Funny how creating art β€œstirs up” memories of childhood. πŸ˜‰
The background was a gelli-plate print. Have you ever tried it, Kerfe? So are the clouds on deli-paper. They were a little bright so I just used the other side. Happy Wednesday! 😍

      • It does!
My daughter bought me a gelli-plate as a gift, but then I moved and I have no idea where it is. I’m going to be moving again, so there are many boxes I haven’t unpacked , although I’m also trying to discard as much as I can, so I may find it during that quest.
