A September Surprise

I wanted to show you my September square-a-day project for the first 12 days of this month.

I am limiting my art medium to watercolor or markers and a little collage.

Like finding the toy in a box of Crack Jacks, each square holds a collage surprise, can you find it?

Happy Friday!

Cheers! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thank you Kerfe, the ants symbolized a potluck at the lake! ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿฅช๐Ÿœ Always such good food at potlucks! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ And the leaf was inspired by the lake too… I hadnโ€™t thought about how they work together, thank you for mentioning that! ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ‘

  10. The birdie is my favorite. How do you decide what to paint?

    • Thanks Evelyn! ๐Ÿ˜Š I try to paint something that relates to my day or something I did. The little blue bird was on a wall calendar for September. Not the same color but a similar shape. The first square was a potluck at the lake. It challenges me to try to create something that tells a story. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ’•
