Today’s weird bird is part Canadian Warbler from this photograph:
I then had fun building a wardrobe for a Warbler using an old dress pattern:
And some of my Gelli Plate printed papers for outfits:
Which “style” is most becoming on this wild Warbler?
A new twist on “paper dolls!” Lol
Happy Weird Bird Wednesday!
Cheers! π
P.S. I’m sure you will see this Warbler again in a future post!
We see these beautiful warblers during migration here in NC. I like dress two! Very cute Jill!

My first thought was paper dolls! and somewhat related to my birdlings, although much more fashionable. (K)

A new twist is right! Oh, how I loved paper dolls as a kid. I only had a couple of real dolls but, oodles of paper dolls. I loved creating outfits for the characters then.
I like the second dress best as it contrasts nicely with her natural neck design. I love this birds fancy neck feathers! Wouldn’t it be cool to see one in real life?!

Hi Deborah, I loved paper dolls as a child too! I never thought about designing my own clothes for them back then, that would have been super fun! π
I agree, it would be great to see a REAL Warbler! I like their bright yellow color. π
