Sometimes you become attached to a simple idea and it just makes you laugh!
The office was slow the other day so I photocopied paper clips and started drawing faces with them.
They made me laugh out loud!
Yesterday, I drew my family… my hubby, myself and Jack, the cat…
I think we are attracted to each other’s magnetic personalities! HAHA!
I hope you try this silly idea some time and it gives you a giggle or two!
One of my favorite poems is by Shel Silverstein, Hug O’War:
If you memorized a poem, what would you choose?
Wouldn’t it be great to escape some place sunny and warm?
Here is a cartoon I did yesterday in my art journal – dreaming of a tropical vacation…
Some days one has to dream!!
I realize this is Weird Bird Wednesday but today’s
show post has been interrupted by this NEW cooking show…
Well, it DOES have a bird in it and it IS weird so I guess it counts!! Lol!
P.S. What do you call a cat who eats lemons? A sourpuss 😉
Look who showed up today for Weird Bird Wednesday!!!
Harold! You do remember Harold, don’t you?
Well, he got me covered for today’s post! Or perhaps those feathers (or leaves) you see are for another bird? Hope you fly on over here next Wednesday to find out!
Happy Weird Bird Wednesday, friends!!
Chirp! (Bird speak for Cheers…) Lol! 🙂
It was a lazy afternoon at the lake. Harold was floating on an inner tube. (You do remember Harold, don’t you?)
Harold was trying to squeeze in a few more minutes daydreaming before summer ended:
Soon school would be starting for his children and he would no longer have idle time.
It was such a relaxing day that a Lackadaisical Duck happened to paddle by:
A rare sighting to see such a slow-moving duck! And yawning too! (I wasn’t aware that ducks yawned…lol!)
Happy Weird Bird Wednesday! Wishing you a lackadaisical day, friends! 🙂
P.S. I have decided to change Weird Bird Wednesday to Whimsical Wednesday. You may still see a weird bird or two but I wanted to have more options! Cheers!
Weird Bird Wednesday meets Bird Brain Inventions…
Don’t be out on a limb without your bird sox! Lol!
I hope you have a happy day, whatever socks you like to wear! 🙂
I thought today would be an eggs-cellent time to share a card I created for a friend:
He was celebrating his 80th birthday!
I wanted to give him a chuckle in case he was in a “fowl” mood…
So this was my answer to the riddle:
You see, Tom likes to sit on his porch at the lake and talk to everyone who happens to stop by. He is one of the nicest people I know! 🙂
We all flocked together to help him celebrate this birthday milestone and sign his card! And eat cake…
As my friend Laura says at Create Art Everyday, it’s time for YOU to shake your tail feathers!
Have a happy day! 🙂
