OK, I must confess… watercolor is NOT my chosen art medium BUT when I spent some time splashing the paint around like yesterday at the lake for World Watercolor Month, it really does ROCK!
This is one of the reasons I like this mountain lake so much – it is soooo clean that you can actually SEE the rocks!

Life doesn’t always turn out as planned… Yet, I do believe how “I” react makes a BIG difference.
I created these patterns in color pencils on black paper with the thought of throwing rocks into water:
And afterwards watching the ripples of my actions spread…
When life gives me lemons, do I spread joy or anger?! The choice is mine.

I like finding images in clouds but sometimes I see them in trees too. Do you see the face in this tree?
Sometimes I see animals… Like a camel’s face in this tree growth:
You have to use your imagination a bit…
I see a bunny in this rock:
And a heart shape in this one:
What images do you see? I’d love to hear from you!
Wishing you a happy day doing whatever brings you the most JOY! And maybe a little time to see images in the clouds, trees or rocks near you!
May you have a Sunny Sunday, friends!! 🙂

I thought you might enjoy these photos I took at the lake this weekend.
Put your sandals and let’s go to the beach! 🙂
A view from a pine tree. Take a deep breath and smell that fresh pine scent:
Look some rocks left over from a child’s sand castle:
Dig your toes into the wet sand! Awww! Now, have a seat and enjoy the view:
Oh, look! There is a Spotted Sandpiper on the shore:
Looks like it’s time for a bird bath! 🙂
One last photo – a reflection of the clouds in the water:
Glad you could come along for a visit!
Enjoy your day! 🙂
