Some people see weeds…
I see a field of flowers,
Growing wild and free.
I took this photo yesterday at the lake. We had such a beautiful weekend – sunny and warm.
These daisies are considered weeds in the State of Idaho but I think they look so pretty!
Happy Monday! Cheers! 🙂
I agree with you Jill. Very pretty indeed! (K)

I can always tell the seasons at the lake by the wild flowers. Early Spring there are purple wild Lupines, then these daisies grow everywhere in early summer. Huckleberry bushes will be ripe for picking soon. In the fall, all the green ferns turn brown. I always enjoy seeing these daisies. Glad you like them too, Kerfe! 🌼😃

Weeds????!!!!! Daisies are about the most perfect of all FLOWERS!!! 🙂 Especially in a field like that against a split rail fence! Nearly perfection! 🙂

I agree, Jodi! 😄 I was surprised to learn this variety of daisy was considered a weed. They grow everywhere and I think they are so pretty! 🌼 The people who own the property next to the fence haven’t arrived yet for the summer so the grass has grown very high but these daisies are growing there too. And they make me happy! 😊

If they look pretty, then they are wildflowers – if they are pretty annoying, then they are weeds! These are definitely PRETTY – mother nature is the BEST gardener, with all her wild randomness and recurring colours en masse! I love how these almost glow against the dark shadow, Jill, great photo! 🙂

Ah, so true! 🌼 Mother Nature always seems to surprise me! 😄 I took the photo with my iPhone and it gave the most detail in the shade. Thank you Hilda – I enjoyed your comments! 💗

Thank you Deborah! 🌼😃🌼 I bet you could make magic with your camera! What app do you use to get the photo to look like it is a vintage photo?

I think you might be thinking about Distressed FX app? That’s the texture app I use.

Oh, yes! That sounds right! Is it an app by itself?

Yes, it’s a stand alone app.

If it’s a weed I would love to have that variety in our garden! Lol, thanks for sharing.

Jill, I love daisies! How could anyone think they are weeds? In fact, several years ago I did a painting of different types of daisies for my dentist. 🙂

I was really surprised to learn that they were considered a weed when I painted them last year and I did a little digging (Pardon the pun! Hehe) and discovered they were classified as a weed. It is also called Dogfennel or Stinking Mayweed. 🌼 Your painting sounds lovely! 😊

Wow, that’s interesting, Jill! Funny pun by the way. I didn’t know they were called by those names or I just don’t remember…I was going to see if my painting was on my blog! I don’t know if it is!
